New Ways To Look At Familiar Text

I definitely think from my experience so far that the Mass is going to be one of the most interesting Major Works concerts we've done in a number of years. The Mass is something that's familiar to most of us - anyone who's sung choral music for a couple of years will tell you they have the words "kyrie eleison" seared into their brains - but this concert is going to give us the chance to look at it from a variety of perspectives and see how it all fits together. How often to we get to examine so many different interpretations of the same text side by side? I'm really excited to get further in the Little Organ Mass and to hear what Concert Chorale is singing.
