Class Singing Assesments
Class singing assesments for most people are extremley nerve-wracking. You sit there waiting and anticipating for your turn, and as soon as it comes, you want to bail. Instead you take a deep breathe and you stand up and sing. i know this is difficult because its a time where you let your wall of comfort fall down. everyone can stare at you and judge you and there's nothing you can really do. I'ts difficult to to let the wall break but once you do, your mind is opened to a whole new way of thinking and possibilities. it may take longer for some, but all in all you mostly get the same effect. you gain courage and people applaud you saying "good job!' which deffinetly helps with your confidence and overall anxiety. Everyone is so supportive and there for you. Any critisim is to help you in the long run, not hurt you. So in all, singing assesments shouldnt be stressful, they should be fun and a good learning experience. Mr. Young deffenitly suplies a safe enviroment for you to feel comfortable letting your wall down and stepping out of your shell.
