favorite artist shout out-2ne1

I wanted to give a shout out this week to my favorite band, 2ne1. Last Monday, 2ne1 was awarded with the title best new band of the year and performed for the first time in America. 2ne1 is a girl pop band who comes from south Korea. They first debuted in 2009 with the boy band, big bang and then released their first single “ fire”. In the time that spent as musicians, 2ne1 has received awards for their songs and performances and are the first in history to receive 4 grand awards at the Asian music awards. Also they are in the middle of working on an English album with will. I .am, who requested that the girls do an album with him. With the members of Cl, Dara, Minzy, and Bom, these four have also released albums in japan, America, France, and Singapore. I like listening to groups from other countries because it gives me a better understanding of the world and their music.
