recruiting boys for the chorus

I think people are impressed with the number of boys that we actually got in chorus this year. I know we worked hard for these recruits, but it is definitely a difficult task to get high school boys to believe that chorus is cool. Mr. Young, the chorus council, and other members of last years chorus did a great job getting boys to try it! This years mens chorus seems really into it and they seem like they are having a lot of fun with it. Its great that they learned the Mass for this weekends concert too. I think that will really benefit them, and they should be exposed to different kinds of music. The boys this year are doing a great job, but they could definitely use some help in a concert such as Major Works, where the music is difficult. Keep up the good work boys! I hope we get even more participants for next year!
