recruiting new members

I think that the chorus could definitely use some new members. Concert chorale is definitely missing boys. The blend of the boys and girls voices would bring our chorus to a whole new level. Recruiting them isn't hard, we just need to find a way to get them to want to join chorus. In this case, doing everything we can to get chorus on their radar is important. Whether it be spreading the word by telling the eighth graders about the perks of chorus, or putting signs up at the middle school. As long as they've heard about chorus and the good things about it then there is a chance we could sway their decision to join. Sometimes if they are on the edge about it, it only takes a few people to seal the deal. Telling them to get their friends to join is also helpful. As long as the chorus welcoming and encouraging, I'm we will get some new members for next year and maybe even a couple guys.
