Today in Class

It's kind of strange to think I would comment on this forum when we are no longer rehearsing repertoire or preparing for a concert. Today in class we voted for new members on the chorus council for next year. I think today was important because it is essential that we have a solid, responsible and attentive Chorus Council who can make next year in chorus the best it can be, especially when we are having a new conductor next year. With a welcoming Chorus council, as well as welcoming chorus members, the transition for both the new conductor and the students will smooth and hassle-free. Of course there will be some troubles, but they will soon be worked out and hopefully will not affect the year as a whole.
