shout out for singing assessments

The past two singing assessments Becca Collins stepped up and proved that she was an important member of our chorus. She never does her singing assessments in class, except for these past two times. Yes, she it was mandatory for her to do this but she was awesome! I had no idea Becca is such a good singer! The first assessment was the sight singing one. Becca stood up, got her note and did everything with ease. She got most all of the pitches right and she got all the solfege right! She has a great voice that I never would have known about if Mr. Young didn't make her sing. The next assessment was the begining to La Violette. Again, she got up and did everything correctly. She was more nervous this time so not everything was correct, but she still did great! I was so happy to see her get up and almost prove that she was that great. Since day one in this class Becca has been nervous to stand up and sing for everyone but I'm glad that she finally did because it was such a wonderful surprise to hear her.
