What I think about Solos!

Whenever we find out our new music I get so excited! when I find out there is a solo in the song I get even more pumped up! When I was a freshmen and heard that we tryout in front of everyone I would get really nervous and would not want to tryout. But once I saw that most of the people in the class try out it made me a lot less nervous. I thought to myself how respectful people are when others are trying out even if or when the person doesn't fit the solo. I am a junior in chorus and have sung in front of everyone in the class, but I do still get nervous when it's my turn to sing alone. The way that I get over this feeling is to just take a deep breath and think that it's not just me. I'm really looking forward to hearing what and who are going to be singing the solo's for our broadway concert!
