New Discovery

A few months ago, a new country artist named Kacey Musgraves dropped her first single called "Merry Go 'Round". The first time I heard this song I was driving home from work at 8 o'clock at night and I was put in an absolute trance. She is so talented. The song is about the endless cycle of early marriages and having children too young. Some of the lyrics are literally genius and the music just makes you want to close your eyes. You could say I'm obsessed with this song. One of my favorite lyrics is "Same hurt in every heart, Same trailer different park". And it isn't just what she sings about, its how she sings it. I really cannot describe it but its kind of magical in a darker sort of way. The song has been on repeat for months now and I don't think I will ever be sick of it. I really think that Kacey Musgraves is going to be a huge hit and I definitely think it was worth mentioning here.
