Select Ensembles

This is my first year in chorus without being a part of a select ensemble. Freshman year I was a member of Chamber Singers and last year I was lucky enough to sing with Women's Chorus. Unfortunately, the number of select ensembles was limited this year and I did not make the cut for any of them. I was extremely disappointed because I now know the benefits of being a part of a group where you hold more responsibility due to group being smaller. The challenge was so rewarding and I was proud to be a part of something so special. I recommend that everyone try out for a select ensemble because I know from personal experience, they are so worth the long audition process.
