Days Lessons

Today we were without a teacher due to SEMSBA. Although it was a rough beginning, i felt as though we were able to push through using our newly acquired skills. Having taught ourselves 3 choir pieces during the Talent Expo concert, we had already had the experience of being put out on our own. Like a bird learning to fly for the first time; our self teaching methods were finally put to the test today. We started off the day using count singing for each piece. Then we added a layer which included pitch. Finally, to top it all off, we started back at the beginning and sang in rhythm using the words. It was difficult but Aofie stepped up the the plate and served as the authoritative figure. We were productive and achieved all of our goals that we had set prior to today. Overall, I thought it was a success and a great day of lessons!
